Hi there! I’m devouring all the content, but I’m particularly interested in learning about a typical day in the life of a green-to-clean bidder. Alternatively, I’d love to know what it’s like to purchase inventory, network with brand representatives, and manage tools, trucks, and other equipment with employees. I’m also curious about the outcome of that situation when the builders ultimately blamed you. Did you have to get involved? That very situation is precisely why I feel confident starting as a single poler and using a skimmer to help maintain records and ensure accountability! 

I can definitely work on that request for you. The client stuck up for us and the builder is performing a no drain acid wash here this week. That’s exactly why I put that note during the call how important skimmer is. No way I would have remembered all of that off the top of my head, just even from last month. We are pulled in a million different ways and can’t remember everything. That’s the real value on Skimmer on top of everything else it does for us!

Great content! I’m genuinely curious, rather than just declining service, why not use it as an opportunity to educate the customer about what’s going on with their pool and maybe offer a quote for repairs or a remodel?

We definitely educated them on why we decided to not take on the pool, and suggestions on things we could have done to fit in our requirements. They declined. We also don’t do renovations so we did send some referrals anyways!
