I’ve seen several posts in fb groups posting about salt shortages, and it looks like some folks are making a run on salt. Is this happening in your market?

Yea most definitely in my area. I had to have a pallet of salt delivered to the house so my techs could pick up salt as needed. If this storm comes through I’ll probably have to order another pallet.

Not seeing that in our area, I just had 2 pallets delivered to our warehouse this week.

No problems in the Northern Virginia area. Fortunately its towards the end of the season and not in the middle of.

yes! my local distributer SCP leesburg FL is out! I had to buy some from Pinch a penny for $14 a bag!! Buuut...Lowes now has a growing pool supply and has salt for 7.50. Florida has gotten quite the soaking this year compared to last summer. And now, another Hurricane {Helene} in bound.

Citrus County, FL. - Gorman and Pinch a Penny were out last week, SCP still had some. But it looks like its going to be a liquid chlorine kind of next few days with the storm. (I also heard the blue bags at PP may be leaving residue on the tile)
