Understanding the mineral mechanism

The science is straightforward but powerful. When properly implemented, mineral systems work through three key mechanisms:

From science to service success: The PoolRx+ system

Since 1994, PoolRx Worldwide, Inc. has perfected mineral sanitization with its flagship product, PoolRx+. This isn't just another algaecide—it's a complete system that combines three EPA-registered active ingredients (copper, silver, and zinc) with proprietary chelation technology.

How the PoolRx+ system works:

1. Simply place the correct pre-sized unit in the pump basket or skimmer
2. The PoolRx+ minerals dissolve immediately and completely out of the unit into solution to kill and prevent all types of algae.
3. The PoolRx+ unit contains a specially treated alloy cylinder that remains in the skimmer or pump basket. As water flows over the empty cylinder, the minerals regain their ionic charge
