Before you start to connect Stripe to enable payments, here is a list of all the information you’ll need to input for a smooth and easy setup process:
- Tax ID/EIN and legal business name
- To find your EIN, check your most recent tax return or call the IRS at 800-829-4933
- Owner details: Name, SSN, DOB, address, and phone number (for anyone with 25% or more ownership)
- Business bank account credentials or your bank account & routing number
- Business website URL or Social Media link
- If you don’t have a website, that's no problem — you can move forward with the setup without it.
