That part Chantel said about being clear that “you are being hired to push a pole”, [and once you’ve got that down, yes maybe in the future you can move on to bigger things like repairs, etc.]. We had this issue constantly with one of our best-hired for the first 7 or 8 months and had to remind him a lot that “hold up, we hired you for this and the rest will come later”.
