Access Tiers: Scaling Up, Owning the Market
Step-by-step instructions . . .
1. Optimizing your work can be overwhelming. That’s why Skimmer created the Schedule tool—it helps you see work over longer periods and across multiple tech’s schedules. This lets you make better scheduling decisions based on tech availability and location.
With the Schedule, you can:
-
View and change currently scheduled activities.
-
View and schedule upcoming tasks that haven’t been scheduled yet.
-
Use a dedicated map for your work.
2. The Schedule’s three modules:
-
Calendar: Shows scheduled activities for all techs.
-
Unscheduled Bin: Displays reminders for work orders that need to be scheduled, work orders that have been created but not yet scheduled, and customers without routine service (like weekly or bi-weekly).
-
Map: Displays pin locations for both scheduled and unscheduled work.
3. Making Changes:
You can update the Schedule easily using drag-and-drop, menu options, or the map.
4. Navigation:
When you open the Schedule, check the header for overall options.
It starts by showing the current week, but you can click the Calendar button to select a different day, which will change the view to that week.
Use the navigation buttons to move between weeks or return to the current week. If you leave the Schedule and come back, it resets to the current week.
Use the refresh button to update the Schedule with any changes.
5. Customizing Your View:
The page shows all modules—scheduled tasks, unscheduled tasks, and the map—by default. You can uncheck any module at any time to change what you see. Note that this setting applies only to the device you're using, not your user account.
Creating Work Orders:
Click the Add button to create a new work order or route assignment directly from the screen.
