If you've set up your Filter Clean Work Orders as recurring, here's a quick tip on how to send your customers a reminder a few days before your techs go out.

 

Step 1: Upcoming Work Orders

Navigate to Work Orders > Upcoming to select all the Filter Cleans that are due. Once you’ve selected them, you’ll Create and Schedule them.

Step 2: Scheduled Work Orders

💡Get these all scheduled to the same tech on the same day to make sending the reminder to your customers much easier!

Step 3: Broadcast Email

Create a new Broadcast Email and select Customers Scheduled to be Serviced as your email recipients. You'll select the date and tech to which these are all assigned. On the right-hand side, you'll see the group of customers who will receive this reminder.

Step 4: Create A Message ✍️

Type a short message to let your customers know that you’ll be out in the next few days/weeks to perform their filter clean service, along with any other important information they need to know. 

💡To make this reminder more personal, click on the #️⃣ to choose if you want to include the individual customer's Last Name, Full Name, or First Name/Company Name.

Step 5: What will my customer receive 🤔

Your customers will receive a personalized email reminder, ensuring they know the details of the upcoming service.

Nice, works great for those that build filter cleanings into their pricing or that bill separate without the need for approval. We have a strict policy that we don’t bill customers without prior approval. Just something I want to stick to since we acquire a lot of customers that complained about surprise costs from the last company. I would say it’s the number 2 or 3 complaint. The trade-off is that you just need to do an exceptional job at communication instead. Works well for us and we get very little pushback. Having the reoccurring work order option with Skimmer helps us keep track of these better and therefore helps us with that communication.
