"Who sees what π€?"
This is one of the most common questions I get asked on using all of our Notes sections. You likely have important details your techs need to know but don't want your customers to have visibility. Or there's information meant only for office staff.
To help you confidently use these useful features, I'm going to explain where to add notes and who can see them. This will help you keep communication flowing and everything running smoothly!
Customer Code
The Customer Code can be used to warn your tech of a dangerous dog or to let them know the service level to complete for the customer. This note will be visible right next to the customer's name before the tech even taps to start their route.

How will it look for my tech?
How to add:
- Go to Customers
- Click Edit on the Customer you want to add a Customer Code for
- Click Edit one more time in the white box next to the Customer's name
- Enter the note in the Customer Code field
- Click Save
Billing and Customer Notes
The Billing and Customer Notes section can be used to store important billing information about the customer that you do not want visible to your techs.

How to add:
- Go to Customers
- Click Edit on Customer
- Click Edit one more time in the white box next to the Customer's name
- Enter notes in the Billing and Customer Notes
- Click Save
Service Location Notes
These notes let your techs know any vital information about the customer or the pool that will be pertinent for them to see when servicing that location.

How will it look for my techs?
How to add:
- Go to Customers
- Click Edit on Customer
- Click Edit in the Service Location box
- Enter a note in the Notes section
- Click Save
Location Code
The location code can be used to inform your techs where to park, enter the property, or provide a detailed description of the house if they all look similar in that neighborhood.
**Be mindful of the content in this note because the customer WILL see it in their service email.

What will it look like for my tech?
How to add:
- Go to Customers
- Click Edit on Customer
- Click Edit on Service Location
- Enter a note in the Location Code
- Click Save
Service Notes
These are notes that your techs use to let you know about a concern at the route stop they were working on. The tech can choose to alert the office, which sends an email with the note and the customer information.

Where will I see them?
In the Service Notes tab on the web or admin panel in the App.
How does my tech add?
- Open the customer's route stop
- Go to Notes
- Tap Edit
- Type Note
- Toggle Alert office if it's super important
- Tap Save
