Given the storms that are making their way across parts of the country, curious how you all deal with clean ups.  Do you charge extra for post storm clean up? If so, how much?

We have it in our service agreement that weather issues are not covered in weekly service. We also make sure our techs are capping their time on site so they can finish each day. That being said, any additional visits we will charge by the hour to clean the pool. Most of our customers so far are ok with slowing getting it back clean with regular weekly service.

Another couple things I forgot to mention. We make sure to send out emails to customers explaining that their pool might not be fully cleaned depending on how much time we have that day. We assure them that we will get it back to swimmable conditions and make sure the water chemistry is safe. We also ask them to assist with skimmer baskets and cleaner bags between visits. After the technician finishes the stop they will use a separate service email explaining that the pool might not be completely clean due to the current weather conditions. The service email will also touch on the previous topics of helping with baskets and explaining that there will be an additional charge if they want us to return that week.

I hope this helps

Same, our agreement spells out that storm clean up is in addition to regular weekly cleanings, we cap our techs at 60 mins for single person trucks and 40 mins for double and make it a practice to get back for follow ups within 48 hours. We also reach out to clients so they know what they can do to help the process (ie backwashing, baskets, topping water off for a vac to waste AND what to avoid such as putting a cleaner in or turning the system on or off depending on what we are trying to do)
