If you use Skimmer Billing, we just added a new update to help you stay on top of quotes and overdue invoices.

Now, Skimmer shows you when your customer first opens an invoice or quote. This gives you a clearer view of your customer engagement, so you can follow up with confidence, speed up collections, and close more deals.

How it works:

  • When a pool owner opens an invoice or quote for the first time, Skimmer automatically records the date. You’ll see this information in Billing → Invoices, where an open envelope icon will appear with the date right below it.

How it helps you:

  • Know if and when a customer has seen a quote, so you can follow up at the right time
  • See if an overdue invoice has been opened, so you can take the next step in collections
  • No extra steps—Skimmer captures this automatically, no matter how the invoice or quote is opened

Important notes:

⚠️ It won’t apply to past invoices or quotes, only new ones moving forward
⚠️ It only records the first time an invoice or quote is opened

This is a great feature. It really helps us know if we need to follow up with a customer if they never opened their quote.
