Step-by-step instructions

  1. In the Settings tab of the Skimmer app, look for the 'Sync Zone'. 'Last Good Sync' tells you when your Skimmer data was last saved online.

  1. You can choose to sync when you open Skimmer ('Sync When Opening App') or when you leave Skimmer ('Sync When Leaving App'). You can switch on one or both of these by tapping the toggle button. The sync will happen automatically if it's been 5 minutes or more since the last one.

  1. If you use Skimmer on more than one device, toggle on 'Primary Device for Route' on the device where you add and update route and customer details. Other devices can view Skimmer data but should not make changes. Remember to switch this option off on your other device.

  1. You can sync your data manually with the 'Perform Sync' button at the bottom of the Sync Zone. This is useful if you've been somewhere with a bad signal and haven't synced for a while. When you're somewhere with a good signal, tap 'Perform Sync' to save your data online.
